“OWNING A ASSET” is something to be very proud of. 🤍 I was talking with Jo couple days ago. Reminisce at the End of 2019. I had no job. Broke asf!! After all the acting gigs finished for the year. She said to me. Would I give Courier driving a go… I was like hell no - Coz I hate driving (I STILL DO.. 😂😂) especially In TAMAKI MAKAURAU. !! I sat on the idea, days and weeks went by.. She hit me up again. (Coz I thought about my son and had to provide) I was like.. Sweet hit the dude up il give it ago.. BASE RUN. - I started Courier post AOC. (HIGHBROOK) Jan 2020. I did well on my Howick / Bucklands beach run. For 10months (ACP428) I picked up the skill of courier driving. Knowing the streets, evens and odds. How to set up the van / accordingly to the run. Manage deliveries and pick ups! I became real good at my job! And ONE of the best. To come Out of that era of Covid. As a driver at CP. Fast forward couple months down the track of 2020. I got dropped as a courier coz the contractor and I was butting heads!! The Dodgey Kieent!! So a few of us filed a law suit. Got him sent back to India.. Jan - October. 2020 I became a SWEEPER. For another contractor. For 2 months - learnt other runs, and areas. Became good at it. (ACP473) That fell short. Money was sh*t - I was only scheduled to half days! Struggling asf!! Hit rock bottom again. October 2020 - Jan 2021 Fast forward Jan 2021 - ACP312 - Out in Drurry / Papakura - I learnt the run. From Drurry to Rosehill to Chichester. I was screwed yet again money wise! That was the last straw for me working under 🇮🇳 I told myself! I WILL RISE FROM THIS!! Jan - April 2021 NOW AS OF NOVEMBER 1st I AM A CONTRACTOR AT DHL AND OWN MY OWN RUN AND OWN BUSINESS!!!
