for real tho i wore a fursuit for halloween once and damn near overheated. the fact that people wear these in midsummer to cons is BANANAS. Especially a tight fitting foam head. you will heat that thing up with your breath so fuckin fast. 

srsly tho fursuiters are the most badass cosplayers. fursuits are NOT comfortable. You can barely see, theyre hot, theyre cumbersome, and sometimes people decide they want to run up on you and hug you from behind. Tip, request, demand even: dont do that. Dont touch anyone without permission but especially fursuiters, they CAN NOT SEE YOU unless you are in a very specific line of sight. They have super blinders on. Also suits are really expensive, so dont go scratching at peoples suits for funsies because that can dislodge fur. Faux fur, especially the quality necessary for a suit, starts high. Fursuiters often have what are known as “handlers” for safety, basically a friend who watches out for them, makes sure they dont unknowingly walk into a dangerous spot, or that people dont do dangerous things to them. There are also places called “headless lounges” at cons where fursuiters can go to take their head off and have a break because without these people would probably be passing out right and left. Be courteous and respectful around fursuiters. Don’t ruin their fun, or their experience. Fursuits a awesome, really hard to make, and cost a lot of money to make or have made.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but pre-rendered CGI is usually chopped into pieces that are rendered separately on different computers (so that they can be done at the same time) and spliced together… So, that would mean that they forgot or otherwise failed to activate the license on at least one of the computers they used to render the cutscene, or someone updated their computer’s version to a version not covered by the license they had.

i think a very nice and sweet gryphon would be a turkey vulture/hairless rat

The top row circles determine where the dot is on the X-axis, the left row detetmines where it is on the Y-axis. They’re used to show more complex harmonic motion

oh my god, i remember watching the special features of the incredibles and they kept saying how difficult violet’s hair was to animate.

One of the senior animators actually spent six fucking years trying to write a new program to animate Rapunzel’s hair.
