Bad batch reference sheets I made, haven’t finished the whole squad but these have been very helpful for drawing so I thought I’d share what I’ve got so far.

Australian wildlife drawings for Inktober 2023

Wander (Echidna), because they can wander over 100 hectares which is even more impressive given their size/stature. Drawn using in ballpoint and digital colouring.

Zam Wessel on Courscant-Clone Wars style. I made it after completing Star Wars bounty Hunter which is an amazing game.

Wish we got more screen time for Zam, it would be super cool to see her in a tales of the Jedi episode.

May Fourth here in Australia today so I’m so happy to finally share my Bad Batch season 2 poster. I started this poster before the first episode aired so I kept it focused on clones. The background was influenced by the scenery of Episode 1 and Kashyyk.

Padmé and Anakin, The Phantom Menace in clone wars style. I was careful in blending both the features of the live action actors to their animated looks whilst also matching the age. Both projects took around a day and a half to create, incorporating a mixture of mediums. To see the full process check out my ArtStation.

Below are the bases or plans for the characters design visualised with the stylised proportions. Shmi skywalker and Captain Panaka we’re good to sketch but I went forward with creating these two more prominent characters. Plus in my research I was reminded Shmi already had a clone wars appearance.

Young Obiwan, I really enjoyed this as I got to incorporate both Ewan McGregor's features in accompaniment with Obiwans Clone Wars style.

I wanted to imagine Maul in his original The Phantom Menace outfit in a more clone wars style. I will admit I had more trouble trying to keep the stylised/animated look which might have to do with the smoother edges and proportions ( since he's younger here). I hope I can revisit this in the future with perhaps a full body action scene. 
I listened to Duel of Fates quite a few times while making this.

Known for it's appearance in The Attack of the Clones the Acklay was a creature Obi wan faced in the Geonosian Arena. It has so many interesting features from its scaly skin, short tusks, claw/pincer arms, long fanged teeth and Mantis-like structure. I really liked Star Wars episode two and I'm glad it has received more appreciation over time.

This project was started on the 17th of may in celebration of Attack of the Clones 20th anniversary. It consisted of two and a half days work. It was made using blender and photoshop. Below are the base model I made plus a shot of the rigged armature.
