I love that Dean is never presented as especially powerful or strong. He started torturing souls in hell because he couldn't take the pain anymore and he was (as Dark!Kaya and himself put it:) too weak to fight Michael off. And this is not a bad thing at all. It is, imo, the opposite; it is very human and very relatable.

He's just a dude that kinda slips into situations because he loves too much.

It is so funny to me that Naomi and the angels tried so hard to erase Castiel's memories over and over again to stop him from messing up their plans only for Castiel to proceed to be a crucial piece in stopping the apocalypse, one of their most planned out plans to ever be planned out. The angels are like "Yeah, it will be fine. Castiel, notorious rebel, can go hang out with the Winchesters, notorious rule breakers and absolutely nothing bad...He what?"

And then they tried to torture him back into submission again, but Dean was like "Look at my eyes" and Castiel was like "You know what? Let's write our own story."
