It's been a while since I last talked or posted something about my Crk AU. But now I'm back with more content! :D
I'll share some concepts and ideas I had for this AU. But keep in mind that these are just concepts, and I haven't canonized anything. If you have better ideas, feel free to share them in the post comments! C: I will also translate the screenshots since they're all in Portuguese. So enjoy! TuT (btw sorry If you find any English errors or confusion in the writing, im not fluent and i use translator sometimes to help me communicate. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments if u felt confused or something similar).
The plot is simple: what if the ancient cookies had successors? Well, I took some cookies that are related to ancients and made them the next generation. The scheme is:
Dark Cacao - Dark Choco (of course :p)
Golden Cheese - Smoked Cheese
Hollyberry - Princess Cookie
Pure Vanilla - Black Raisin
White Lily - Red Velvet (yes, he's more related to the Dark Enchantress Cookie, but even so, both are the same person, so whatever :p)
"The AU takes place after the battle between the Beasts and Dark enchentress Vs. The ancient heroes, but there are some differences from the canon: all the beasts lose their bodies (including Shadow Milk, who is "killed" by Silent Salt in his last breaths) and the ancients retire from their positions and rest after all the work with the war. Also wlc have the same fate as the canon version (she dies 😔), and her souljam, along with ssc souljam, will still merge. The good guys wins and everything, and Red Velvet leaves the cookies of darkness and moves on with his cake monsters.
However, the retirement process is slow because the ancients need to have a proper conversation with their chosen ones to train them not only in the fighting aspect but also prepare them for future responsibilities and such. They are practically beasts if they've had training and preparation lol"
"Red Velvet is going to be complicated compared to the others because the Beacon of Hope herself will choose "her holder", since in this AU she functions as the embodiment of souljam and not a cookie itself. It's like the dragons logic where they have a cookie form and a dragon form."
"Now, here are the ideas I've had after some time:
The antagonists: I planned to be the beasts, but now that they're dead, they act more like "essences" than "materialized cookies" like before. Im other words they are like a fusion of the akumas and hawkmoth from mlb now lol.
A practical example of how they work: A certain cookie has negative feelings involving anger frustration and etc. Burning spice's essences comes and emphasizes these feelings and leads this cookie down the path of destruction. Then burning spice takes over the cookie's mind and transforms them into a great monster/anomaly/creature, affecting the place around them and transforming it into some kind of garden where more and more destruction will manifests. When the transformation is complete, the garden camouflages itself."
"It's similar to Madoka Magica, where the witches have well-hidden nests. And these gardens leave traces, but the location itself is never seen with the naked eye (except for the traces). How they can be revealed is something I'm working on, but it will certainly be based on "blessings" that the souljams can give, making a certain blessed cookie see everything and reveal the garden"
"I still need to figure out what to do with them. (With the Cookies of Darkness)
But I believe they will separate and go their separate ways, except for Promegarete who will seek revenge against the ancients and stuff. Maybe she'll study more about the essences of beasts and use that knowledge to her own advantage. But nothing has been decided yet..."
