We’ve got four British artists on there (well, I did grow up here), but it’s mostly stuff from across the pond. That said, ‘Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down’ was never released in the US, but it was over here, and it was huge (hence it’s on my Spotify master playlist!).

There are songs from four soundtracks (Scream, Twilight, City of Angels and Cruel Intentions), proving that movies make my brain remember songs better.

Also, I’m currently rewatching Battlestar Galactica, so I had to include Hendrix 😎.

I struggled to pick just one a lot, I have so many amazing songs to share! So I’m going to give just a few more recommendations.

I have no P in my username unfortunately, but my absolute most favourite song from yuyoyuppe is Palette. I would pick one song for each letter just from yuyoyuppe, but I wanted variety. Fun fact, yuyoyuppe produces songs for Babymetal!

Another one of those producers I can recommend every song from is niki. If you were in the undertale fandom back in the day, you might actually recognise Close to you! I have many favourite niki songs, but I will settle on FACE. If anyone asked me to name whose music represents the word emotion, I would name niki.

Initiation is from Hatsune Miku Opera: The End. My absolute favourite soundtrack from it is What is Perfection? It’s very haunting, abstract and absolutely breathtaking.

From otetsu, you might be more familiar with Black Gold. Well, you can tell I like rock a lot haha. This producer’s instrumentals are always incredible.

Imagine a Destiel fic where Dean is set up with Castiel, a man who just got out of a very bad breakup and is here for the holidays to get away from it all

Dean thinks they've really hit it off. That Cas really seems to like him

Then all of a sudden, Cas' ex he just broke up with comes knocking on the door, soaked in rain in a slutty white shirt, declaring his love for Cas and how he made a mistake. He had this big Ryan Gosling's The Notebook speech that's backdropped by beautiful rain and thunder. And for some reason, ex looks fucking fantastic despite saying he went through so many trials just to get there

Dean is like "oh fuck, I'm the other man"

But instead of a romantic reunion, Cas slams the door on his ex's face and goes "Someone please call the police"

And now Dean, thinking they're in a romcom esc scenario, thinks he has to romance Cas to one up his ex

Not knowing Cas has been very much into Dean since they first met, and is soaking up the affections his ex never truly gave him
