The #EndSARS movement is a movement whose goal is to end the "Special Anti Robbery Squad," a police squad that extort, harass, attack, and kill innocent Nigerians. They target people based on their clothes, possessions, and perceived sexuality. Tuesday, October 20th Nigerian forces in Lagos opened fire at protestors, killing at least 78 people and injuring countless more. (cnn article linked)
If you're not in Nigeria, what you can is educate yourself on the #EndSARS movement. Many Nigerians are sharing their experiences over social media because of the lack of coverage by western media. Listen to them and amplify their voices.
