Trying to find an old tumblr post I used to see a lot.
It started with someone listing "places with uncanny energy," like gas stations on a road trip, empty movie theaters, etc.
Then someone reblogged it and said those are called "liminal spaces," defining liminal as in-between, neither one thing nor another.
It was the first time I'd seen the term "liminal" applied to places like that, and it's driving me crazy, I want to find and put a date on it so bad.

updates on my Factorio Full Py playthrough:
found Twenty Fucking Geothermal Nodes, and of course I claimed All Of Them, All The Geothermals. I’ve got 2.6 GW of power or so in very early py1. My current factory consumes like 150 MW at maximum consumption
I have, to the horror/surprise/amusement of many in the official Pyanodons discord server, made a tar refinement setup that should be able to consume and process up to 900 TAR PER SECOND (my current coal gas/syngas stuff(not the new one im making) currently produces a bit under 150 per second, and was already considered decently large for my point in progression
Though I have been informed that out of all things, tar refinement is pretty much one of the few things that it’s fine to Really overbuild due to having fewer vastly improved things down the line and having a stellar input cost to output value ratio(tar is basically free and it produces So Much Good Stuff like gasoline and coke and aromatics and creosote etc etc)

To answer some common questions in the tags:
1. How do you lose a Giraffe? She apparently scaled a cliff that served as part of the enclosure (which the other giraffes in the herd had shown no interest in climbing.)
2. Well it should be easier to find her, she's a whole ass giraffe? Yeah, you'd think, but Texas ranches are fuckin huge. The man has apparently hired a helicopter and several drones to aide the search, but no luck yet. She's been seen on some game cameras on the nearby ranches though. But she's sneaky.
3. Why does a random guy in Texas have a herd of giraffes? Because it's Texas and we have basically no exotic animal regulations. No really. If you have enough land out in the hill country, you can just own stuff. It's fuckin nuts.
What's sending me is the "described as having rounded ears", as if to distinguish her from other stray giraffes that concerned neighbours might encounter.
I mean given Texas apparently has no exotic animal regulation the fact you might encounter another stray giraffe is low, but not zero.

the “juice pipe”. all burnable fluids not used for crafting(so currently: shale oil, gasoline(tar processing byproduct), acetylene(overflow from titanium and lead mining), and coal gas(currently overflow from aluminum mining and as a result from voiding excess coke)) and that shall be piped to every building that uses fluid fuels(currently glassworks and smelteries, but there’s probably a lot more)
