That fucking ‘’Wonder Woman sends a bad message because it tells kids They can expect more quality films from DC lol’’ post pisses me off.
Aside from the fact that it’s a stupid fucking joke just like almost every other snide joke about how DC is so terrible, it plays into something that really fucking annoys me.
I heard people on this website complaining about not having a Wonder Woman film for years. Years. I had to listen to shit about how They were the absolute worst and how Marvel was so much fucking better because They had a fucking talking Raccoon or because Kevin Feige said he might consider a Black Widow film or some shit, about how They were sexist and how if Marvel had Diana, she’d have two films by now (Yeah, how’d that one work out?)
Now DC/WB have made a Wonder Woman film. They made a film with a female lead, doing something that Marvel has failed to do. They made a film that everyone loves. They made a film that’s exactly what Tumblr said They wanted from a WW film. They made a film that critics can’t stop praising to the point where it has a higher RT rating than almost every MCU film and most other CBM’s. They did exactly what everyone on here was saying They needed to do in order to win people over and be seen as worthy and it STILL isn’t fucking good enough for this website.
You know what?
You motherfuckers don’t deserve this film, these characters or this universe.
