As a Canadian, the jokes about the fires aren’t funny to me. Call me dramatic, but this is becoming a yearly occurrence every fucking summer across Canada and preventative measures are not being taken.

Fines need to be higher for dumbasses who light their grass on fire in the spring when it’s windy. The threats about jail time needs to be more than just threats… slapping people on the wrist who start forest fires isn’t doing anything. It should also be a law that ditches on rural properties have to be maintained. Our government needs to put more funding into water bombers and teams.

I watched several friends escape with nothing during the Fort Mac fire. That was utterly insane and made national news. The sad thing is, we’ve lost more towns since then. I’m in northern BC and we were on evacuation alert because of the fires last year… it was so bad it felt like the apocalypse seeing people lined up for miles for gas and supplies knowing they’d be traveling for hours to get to a safe zone check point.

Anywho. Yes, I’m sorry your air in Michigan and the east coast sucks right now. But imagine how those who are directly affected by the fires feel.

Every part of Vegas feels like it's pulled out of fiction and is Incredibly off-putting. It's a major city in the middle of one of the world's most inhospitable deserts

Its famous for recreating other world landmarks on a small scale. It uses this as a trap to bait people into making life ruining decisions. It's motto is essentially "never speak of what happened here". Fucked up

#tumblr is starting to piss me tf off

I went back to the Pioneer Saloon to sign the guest book… and man, seeing almost all of the fallout shrine gone and replaced with empty nuka cola bottles and some fallout merch… kinda was disappointing.

I get the event tripled in size since the tv show aired, but idk man.. it just didn’t feel the same. I still love the Pioneer Saloon and I’m thankful they host an event for us, and still keep a shrine up. (Their whiskey is so good, it will make you grow some chest hair too LMAO) but it just doesn’t feel the same.
