🍓: how did you get into writing fanfiction?

my sister and i used to write each other self-insert fanfiction where we dated our favorite characters: twins from an obscure christian fantasy novel. this was technically before either of us ever knew what "fanfiction" was though, so i guess the second moment was reading and writing x reader one direction fanfic on wattpad.

🧩: i feel like i'm very permissive when it comes to the fanfiction i read. i can get into just about anything (and any trope) if ☝️ it's written well. my biggest icks are juvenile dialogue and characters saying literally every single thought out loud. (unless, of course, that's an established and believable character trait..... so we're cycling back into "i'll read anything as long as it's well written")
