ok i watched the hunger games movies when they came out and never again but i've read the first three books like a million times and i'll just say. the movies aren't my favorite but they do capture a certain. je ne sais quoi. i think it's really funny (sad) that katniss is so bewildered to have any power at all. and that people want to stand beside her. it's hard to portray this in the movies when you don't see her inner dialogue but the scene where she's in the hospital in district 8 (?) and she was visibly emotional. very funny (sad.) also when prim is like. hey so ur actually so important here. theyll literally do anything for you. and katniss was like ????????. god she means everything to me.
