Soup Time

everyone bitching about Edmonton and how Connor should leave and yadda yadda yadda… guys. we’re literally closing in on the end of the second act of what’s either gonna be a Greek tragedy or a Greek comedy. YES the anticipation is killing me too but appreciate the potential of this moment!!! connor and Leon are literally doing codependent trauma bond shit trying to get this team to a cup. they are getting on board to throw spaghetti at the fucking wall and see if any of it works bc they are so desperate to win together on this team. they’re getting ready to say goodbye to nurse, so it’s lowkey just them and nuge as the core now, and nuge I think worked out all of his codependent threesome urges back when Connor got drafted. there’s no way for this narrative to end that isn’t going to make me feel like a crazed animal for years to come, and I just really don’t think we’re appreciating enough what a wonderful and beautiful thing that is!! personally I hope connor and leon get even more wrapped up in each other and the locker room gets kind of insane and toxic and they win the cup and then everything immediately implodes so bad Edmonton gets stuck right back in the exact same bullshit they’ve been stuck in since the Gretzky years <333 OR that nothing but beautiful and lovely things happen to connor forever and ever amen.
