this is not the same thing but that last post i reblogged made me think of movie theater behavior too… like you obviously have your typical idiots who use their phones but when i went to see obsession there was a young couple next to me who kept whispering the whole time and even if it was ”just” whispering it was still annoying, especially because the girl kept repeatedly saying stuff like ”oh my fucking god, oh my fucking god, i’m so scared, this is so creepy, oh my fucking god”. i paid 20 euros to see a movie not to hear someone’s commentary. if pay that much i would like to be able to concentrate on the actual movie and if you can’t do that and being silent is hard for you and on top of that you can’t handle horror then maybe you should’ve waited to watch this one at home…

#when the movie ended and they left i also noticed that #they had made a HUGE mess and there was popcorn and trash everywhere on their seats and on the floor near their seats #those people were the actual horror experience like obsession was nothing compared to their behavior #one time there was a couple next to me #and the guy was explaining the previous movies to his girlfriend because it was a sequel and she didn’t get it #and kept asking questions like ’who is that’#like jesus fucking christ #also sometimes people keep constantly leaving their seats #like with their friends #and then they come back #i get that sometimes you need to use the toilet but three times during a two hour movie?#so i don’t think it’s that and they also don’t ever come back with more snacks #so what the fuck are these people doing #why do you pay for the insanely expensive tickets if it’s too much for you to focus

Important!!! I was at a live music event in a local coffee shop and a group of teenagers were blasting tiktoks while others were performing!!

Also, they were NOT fitting the wholesome atmosphere that was going on. And they were SINGING ALONG TO THE TIKTOK SONGS-

AT LEAST WAIT YOUR TURN AND DO IT TF UP ON STAGE!!!

#i saw someone once argue that they use headphones at work and don’t want to use them all the time #well the solution to that is to not watch videos with sound in public then?#this has become so normal now though and i feel like a fucking boomer when i complain about it #but i honestly i don’t get how these people aren’t tired #of the constant flood of stimuli around them #i don’t use public transportation regularly but the last time i was on the train it was so loud #almost everyone’s phone/other device was making some kind of noise #one person was having a facetime call… at least three different people were watching tiktoks and ig reels without headphones…#a child spent the whole time playing games on ipad or watching kids’ shows #it was horrifying? i was kind of tempted to start listening to my music without headphones like #you’re not having fun anymore huh #anyway it’s just very different than it was 10 years ago #i remember people answering the phone like ’i can’t talk right now i’m on the train’#it was considered embarrsssing when you accidentally played a video out loud for three seconds #let’s go back to that please
