i hate how lost will gift male characters a love interest to raise the stakes of what that character has to lose when theyre literally on a weird time traveling island like what the fuck are we talking about why do we have to fridge so many female characters when the stakes are literally high enough like come on. at least sun and jin died together because that was a relationship that was fleshed out on both ends and provided complexity to both characters.
