#ive had this shit happen exactly Twice#and both times it was me joining some EXTREMELY tiny close-knit fan community for some niche thing i got into#only to run into someone else there i recognized from some other Bigger Fandom who was super toxic/annoying/gave me rancid vibes#both times were like. Immediate Jumpscare#followed by months of AGGRESSIVELY avoiding eye contact hoping they wouldnt notice me#and both times i didn't end up staying in those communities very long bc the vibes got bad! go figure lol#like idk. it's one thing avoiding someone you don't fw in a Massive Community with tens of thousands of ppl in it. thats fairly easy#another story ENTIRELY when it's like. 30 active people tops and everybody knows each other#rp communities ESPECIALLY. because like. the whole point is Interacting With People so ofc everyone talks to everyone#''hey i noticed you dont rly talk to suchandsuch. why is that? are you just nervous to approach them?? theyre actually rly nice''#no actually it's cuz theyve actively harassed me/my friends multiple times before over stupid fandom wank bullshit thx for asking <33
