List of my OCs
Because I like to talk about them lol. This is going to be my new pinned so for old followers who are maybe not super interested in hearing about my Elder Scrolls OCs, I am putting the list under a read more.
Ingar - Also known as "Ingar the Mage", Ingar is an Altmer Mage and is my Eternal Champion. The first thing you should know about him is that he is scared to death of literally everything. He cries before, during, and after every fight. He is basically twenty seven anxiety disorders wrapped up in some loose-fitting robes. 19 year old Ingar had been Ria Silmane's apprentice for all of six months before she was murdered by Jagar Tharn right in front of him. As you can imagine, this only made his anxiety worse. He's very tall and very skinny because he doesn't eat nearly enough (because when he's anxious, he has a hard time eating. and he is anxious almost 24/7). He is gay/mlm and eventually marries another one of my OCs, who I'll get to next. After he saved Tamriel, Ingar settled down with his husband in the Imperial City, where Ingar began teaching at the Arcane University. He still cries a lot, and he's still scared of a lot of things, but he has learned to be brave in spite of his fear. Ingar is one of my favorite OCs because he's just so pathetic and loveable and so unheroic despite being a literal hero lol.
Arena and Daggerfall OCs:
Eleiridin - Also known by his much shorter nickname, El, Eleiridin is a transmasc Dunmer Sorcerer and is my Hero of Daggerfall. El was adopted by Altmer parents and raised in Cyrodiil. His parents were accomplished mages who taught at the Arcane University. El took to exploring Tamriel because he is very curious by nature. His travels eventually took him to Vvardenfell, where he met Ingar in the last year or so of his quest for the Staff of Chaos. El was immediately impressed by Ingar's magical prowess and felt an odd sense of protectiveness when he saw how anxious and scared Ingar was. El accompanied Ingar for the rest of his quest and helped him defeat Jagar Tharn, though El was notably much less experienced at that point than Ingar was. A few years after their victory, the two got married. Later, when the Emperor was looking for someone to go to Daggerfall, El volunteered in Ingar's place because he knew poor Ingar would not be able to handle the stress of another quest. Ingar was still anxious about El going, but El promised that he would come home safely and even bring Ingar a gift. Unfortunately, El's promise ends up broken, as he dies in the aftermath of the Warp in the West, which only makes poor Ingar's anxiety worse.
Morrowind OCs:
So, I have a "main" Nerevarine and an AU Nerevarine who happened because I was experimenting with character designs. I say "main Nerevarine," but uh. Technically speaking, there's kinda more than one of them? Because my Nerevarine is plural. So, for my main Nerevarine, I'll provide a brief overview of all of them collectively, then introduce each alter individually since they have very different personalities.
The Main Nerevarine - So, they don't really have a collective name other than "Nerevarine," but in-universe I don't think they need any other name to refer to them collectively. They are a Dunmer Mage who was raised in an orphanage in Cyrodiil, up until they were 14, at which point they were adopted by an Altmer couple. They got arrested when they were 25 for throwing a fireball at a guard. They got two years.... but only a month into their sentence, the Emperor decides to release them and ship them off to Morrowind. And now, to meet the alters...
Important Note: Each alter represents/has a connection to a certain member of the Tribunal. An additional alter represents Nerevar himself. Fair warning that some of them are better developed than others.
Avani - Avani is a transfem sapphic mage who idolizes Almalexia. She is the host of the system and is the one who is fronting at the start of Morrowind. She is extremely anti-Imperial and wants more than anything to reconnect with her heritage as a Dunmer. And what better way to do that than to worship and venerate the Tribunal? Prior to being sent to Morrowind, she does extensive research into the Temple, Tribunal, and their teachings. Immediately, she is drawn to Almalexia and essentially tries her best to be like her. She is fronting for the beginning of Morrowind and for the good majority of the Tribunal DLC. She ends up falling for Almalexia after meeting her (before, her fascination with her was more like "I want to be her." Now, it's "I want to be with her"). This makes Almalexia's betrayal all the more painful...
Velyn - Velyn is, first and foremost, a scholar. He is fascinated with all kinds of magic. He kind of abruptly joins House Telvanni, much to the annoyance of every other alter, because "House Telvanni is the House that I can gain the most knowledge from." Velyn's morals are, as a result... kind of interesting. He's kind of the "true neutral" kind of guy. No sides; he just wants to study magic in peace. A true Telvanni lol. He has a crush on Dagoth Ur, and he is convinced that it is all Nerevar's fault.
Drarayne - This alter is a work in progress. Here is what I have figured out thus far: They are genderfluid and pansexual. They are a Nightblade. They are mischievous and funny. They are the youngest at heart. They're a little menace (affectionate).
And now for my last Morrowind OC.
Haj-Jul - Haj-Jul is an Argonian Shadowscale who was raised in the Dark Brotherhood. She didn't like it, though, as she has a very strong sense of honor. Upon arriving in Morrowind, she joins the Morag Tong because she likes their sense of honor. Haj-Jul translates to "Hides-Her-Heart," though if you use the Cyrodiilic translation of her name, she will make your life a living hell. Haj-Jul is queer (like pretty much all of my other ocs lol) but I haven't decided how she's queer. For now, I'll tentatively say she's aroace.
Oblivion OCs:
Charlie Ervine - Charlie, my Hero of Kvatch, is probably my most well-developed OC. Charlie is half Redguard, quarter Breton, and quarter Bosmer. Dad was a Redguard, and mom was half Breton half Bosmer. Basically, Charlie looks like a very short elven Redguard. They are genderfluid, but 99% of the time, they are nonbinary and prefer they/them pronouns. They are gay (nblm) and demisexual. They are blunt and will judge you out loud and to your face. Insults are their weapons of choice, but they also have a fondness for lightning bolts. They are a mage that specializes in conjuration and destruction. They're kind of a necromancer, but they're not about to admit that to the Mages Guild lol. They used to be a priest of Julianos, but some people died, and they have since been extremely anti-religion. They have a younger brother, but the two of them aren't exactly on speaking terms.
Ko'Lheta - Ko'Lheta is one of my few non-protagonist OCs. She is a Suthay-Raht Khajiit who teaches Mysticism and Illusion at the Arcane University. She's also a bit of a kleptomaniac and uses her skills in Mysticism and Illusion to acquire items that may or may not actually be hers. If you ever accuse her of stealing, however, she will vehemently deny it and will accuse you of stereotyping her, even if you catch her in the act.
Skyrim OCs:
Varyn Indoril - my first LDB. He is the Nerevarine's son. He is a transmasc Dunmer Nightblade/Spellsword. He tried moving to Skyrim to escape his obligations as a hero in Morrowind... but fate has a cruel sense of humor. He is aromantic and bisexual and he just wants to be left alone tbh.
Eivine - my second LDB. Eivine is a transfem Altmer Mage/Necromancer and is Ingar and Eleiridin's granddaughter. She shows her Dunmer heritage through her black hair and reddish eyes. She has a seething hatred for the Thalmor, and when going to the Thalmor Embassy, Varyn barely held her back from murdering Elenwen right then and there. She is slow to trust, but once you've earned her trust, she will both kill and die for you.
Hjördis Dragon-Heart - Hjördis is a Nord Clever Woman and my third LDB. She was raised in the traditional Nord way and honors the Old Ways. She hates both the Imperials and Stormcloaks. She especially hates that the Stormcloaks are fighting for an IMPERIAL god. Her goals are to drive the Empire from Skyrim and restore the worship of the old totem gods. Also, she uses a handmade wheelchair to get around, because she has chronic fatigue and pain.
Side note for my 3 Dragonborn: In my own personal canon, each of them becomes more dragon-like as the main quest progresses. Eivine's antler stubs (that she has due to some distant Bosmer ancestry) grow and become more akin to dragon horns. Varyn develops blue markings on his skin that look like scales. Hjördis' eyes become more dragon-like.
ESO OCs:
Eivinidine - One of my Vestiges. She's a transfem Altmer Necromancer and is Ingar and Eivine's ancestor. She is my "main" Vestige and is the most well-developed. She actually was a member of the Psijic Order prior to the Planemeld and was even friends with Mannimarco and Vanus Galerion. Unfortunately, all three of them fell out with each other. Eivinidine fell out with Vanus due to her fascination (and obsession) with necromancy. She fell out with Mannimarco due to Mannimarco's blatant disregard for others' lives. Losing her soul, though, deeply affected her and caused her to care less about others' lives (becoming more like Mannimarco as a result). At the end of the main quest, Eivinidine only kinda gets her soul back. It's... damaged. Side effect of being away from her for so long.
Yvanna - Another Vestige. She's a lesbian Bosmer Warden and is Eivinidine's wife. She loses her soul, just like Eivinidine, though it doesn't seem to affect her quite as much. She is a follower of the Green Pact, though Eivinidine eventually convinces her to be a little less strict about it when they're outside of Valenwood. She's an absolute chaos gremlin. Yvanna also gets her soul back damaged. This affects Eivinidine and Yvanna's bloodline in interesting ways.
Kora gra-Muzgob - Yet another Vestige. She's an Orc Sorcerer. She doesn't really have much of a connection to the other two. She is, in fact, related to Sharn gra-Muzgob, the definitely-not-a-necromancer from Morrowind. She is a vampire and is obsessed with gaining as much power as possible in order to better protect those she loves. She has a younger brother that she is very protective of.
