you look through & it's pretty unstructured, just full of random thoughts (like, silly stuff he's too embarrassed to say/ask aloud, feelings he doesn't want to burden anyone else with, etc.), messy little sketches of various critters and plants and people in the margins, notes & reminders to himself, etc...

I think it would also update throughout the main quest with more writing & doodles if you leave it in his inventory & check later. or maybe he just keeps several for the various major questlines that update as you progress? MQ section would definitely have a few pages full of botched, scribbled-out attempts to draw dragons (he's trying but they're Complicated and he's not THAT good of an artist lol), remarks on the Greybeards and Paarthurnax, and complaining to himself about delphine lmao

3. Is your character obsessed with anything?

I wouldn't say obsessed necessarily, but Cyndreth is very interested in plants. Since his sense of direction is a bit out of whack on Nirn, he used to use local flora as a navigation tool, figuring out which species grew in which regions so he could later use them to tell where he was at a glance. He's gotten better at navigating since then, but he still tends to fixate on the flowers around him out of habit.

Early on, he used to pick a flower from each patch he encountered as he traveled & daisy-chain them together as a record of where he'd been. Then if he needed to backtrack, he'd just follow the flowers.

7. What about your character still remains a mystery to you?

Cyn underwent a lot of magical tampering when he was summoned, but it's never really shown what he was like before all of that was done to him. He was likely more akin to a normal Dremora personality-wise, though he was always viewed as a little off even by their standards (much more chill). His unusual circumstances left him with quite a few holes though, and to fill those, he began to adapt to the mortal plane instead.
