I am a writer and reader. I hope to publish a book eventually. I want to encourage others to read. My page is mostly book reviews that include spoilers and updates on my reading life. Ok guys, just a normal post today BC I gotta say something. (Not a serious topic btw, don't worry)

I just walked around my ENTIRE school library and made a TBR list of books I might wanna read. Now, keep in mind that the list already existed and I just heavily added on to it, ig. So I'm walking and I see these books that look like they have very intriguing dolls on it, similar to Barbie and I pick it up bc it's a WHOLE series. Like color, after color, after color! Yk what series this is.... Pretty Little Liars. Now, I've heard of it but never read it and the book covers are actually so cute.

UPDATE/SPOILER ⚠-> I am in fact reading The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller and let me just say WOW. I had read it for the first time up to about chapter 16 and never continued it and I am already at chapter seven (I started it officially yesterday). Personally, I think it’s going very well so far. But I also know how bad this story is going to go, even if I haven’t read it yet! I’m so scared but let’s discuss so far.

NOTES:

I just realized that SO FAR they're only 12... TWELVE!!!! Respectfully that is INSANE. (the chapter I was in at least)

Also, not her just throwing the fact that Patroclus was gonna die at him, like HELLO!??!!

Otherwise everything it cute and calm (so far)

And I'm 95% sure that the blood oath is gonna come back to bite them in the butt :(

Radio Silence (by Alice Oseman)

As much as I love Heartstopper, my favorite of Alice Oseman’s work will always be Radio Silence. It’s a great book with the central relationship being a platonic relationship between a boy and a girl, and there’s a ton of great queer elements with a main character coming out as demisexual which is so underrepresented and other characters being bi, pan, lesbian, etc.

UPDATE ⚠ -> I am considering reading/starting back up The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller again :) I remember reading most of it and then at some point steering off of the book and into other things and therefore I never officially finished it. But recently I had been writing and lot more and since school is finally about to end, I think I want that to be one of the books I pick back up (as well as possibly Little Women, but that's only a possibility).

UPDATE/SPOILERS (Ch. 1-10)⚠-> The picture of Dorian Gray is actually kinda insane. Bc WDYM they barely find out he's in love with this woman and IMMEDIATELY call her trash when they see her act!! It's insane to me. Also I didn't except the painting to change so early so that's that.

AGGGTM SEASON TWO CAME OUT TODAY AND IT IS GOING TO BE AMAZING (pray with me for it to be) I trust in Holly and Netflix (partially) to make this show amazing and not cancel it before season 3 :)

The last two books in the once upon a twist series don’t exist.. they were cancelled or only a few copies were made (and those who have them aren’t saying anything). But I’m hoping to find them somehow if I have to message perdita finn myself. I believe there are a few chapters up somewhere so I’ll try to compile all that’s available

UPDATE ⚠-> Guys... I quit reading the Lunar Chronicles.

I know I say that I read very often, but a part of me just hasn't been able to get through this series for some reason. Maybe I'll just take a little break from it and read an entirely different book to get myself out of this slump, but the Lunar Chronicles has to come to an end for me, just for a bit. I believe I'm either going to finish the "Project X" spy school novel by Stuart Gibbs or read a romance novel of some kind (Alex & Eliza by Melissa De La Cruz is also an option).

I'll update on the book I'm reading and if I get back into Lunar Chronicles I'll let you know, but till than have a LOVELY DAY!!!

[P.S: this has nothing to do with the actual books. I was simply on Scarlet (book two) and it wasn't really clicking for me when it came to interest so I decided to take a break or leave it permanently (idk yet) PLEASE READ THIS NOVEL IF YOU LIKE THE IDEA OF REIMAGINED SCI-FI FAIRYTALE BOOKS]
