A few books I'm planning on reading since I actually have completed my TBR. And why.

Deathless  by Catherynne M. Valente it's an alternate history novel following the Russian revolution, based on the myth of Koschei the deathless. I like folklore and I did a project on the Russian Revolution. The Witch and the Tsar by Olesya Salnikova Gilmore it's a Baba Yaga retelling where she has to defend her people from Ivan the Terrible. Same as before I like folklore and I've played Yaga before so. The Girl in Red by Christina Henry a post apocalyptic retelling of Little Red Ridding Hood I tend to enjoy post apocalyptic books so this seems like a good read.

An hour later I'd somehow adopted four novels, a notebook I absolutely did not need, and a candle that smells like "mysterious library after rain."

This is not poor decision-making.

This is supporting the arts.
