I don't think the logical part of me believes in fate either. But I do believe in the power of coincidence, which I see as having a huge impact on our (human, and maybe non-human?) lives.
I don't know how soon I'll make it back to Sac, but I'd be (I am?) glad for your friendship and I'm sure I'll see you in a dream 😉 soon enough.

Summer has been good, albeit extremely busy. I've been rotating on wards since mid-June, so I've been working six-day weeks and I have not had much free time which has been driving me crazy. Even so I'm happy to be learning a lot and I start in the ICU tomorrow. The biggest struggle has been finding time to visit home to see my family and some of my best friends - I've made a couple trips back over the past few weeks that have lasted all of 22ish hours with a 2.5 hour drive to and from Sac 🤷♀️ We celebrated my best friend's birthday on Saturday, and she wanted everyone to dress up in clown themed attire? I was baby Michael Myers (again). I think that's most of what's happened this summer, but we still have another month or two!
