After how much Octopath Traveler 0 disappointed me I revisited the first game.

When I first played the sequel I remember having the thought that, as much as I adored the first game, Octopath Traveler 2 made so many improvements that I felt that there wasn’t really any reason other than nostalgia to play the first and upon a revisit i stand by it.

The first Octopath Traveler is a great JRPG in its own right, but 2 just does all of the little things much better. On the surface they look so similar visually but the quality of life differences are night and day (joke not intended).
