Observe, Capture and Depict

The chaos of my mind needs time, or the words tumble off my lips in disarray; a senseless cacophony. All must be sorted on the page.

I can think loving thoughts that rock me to sleep and hug me so tightly that I feel like I belong somewhere.

Because in this noisy, chaotic world, people who are supposed to care respond to my desperate cries with blank stares

I looked within myself for a way forward: There, I am constricted by darkness, and moisture clings to me like a weighted blanket. Whether it is comforting or constraining, I am not sure.

I keep my love within you A hope chest My someday home

Give me the most important title in your life, Wife, and allow me to grow into it. Allow me to adorn our shared space with my love. For there is a sense of purpose in being a source of comfort and nourishment to you

There is peace in knowing that I am what I believe to be good about the world.

Love is expressed in innumerable ways, but nothing is more powerful than entering the realm of my existence and honoring its singularity. Contribute to my life by listening to me; I know I may talk a lot, but I appreciate you witnessing the unfoldings of my inner world. Contribute by observing my sadness; I know it may be uncomfortable, but by witnessing the pain that anchors me to this moment you bear the weight with me. By cherishing my story and my telling of it, you get a glimpse into my soul.

For once, I don’t need anything else. I am at peace with myself.

You build a home in the one you love

Why would I give my body to someone who doesn't know what it means?

Where will this feeling bring me today? All I know is that I have to write into it.

A mother's love creates a space to grow into a dream It soothes and it comforts has faith in the unseen

They cover me in clarity and wrap me in curiosity until I fall into a dreamless sleep

And my dreams  will be my secret between my soul and me A vision of what the future could be

Ever-changing my soul expands I know my growth is limitless
