Broken Kingdoms

so I will admit there is a reason I have been throwing a whole bunch of art for this series down. And it is not just my love for this fanfiction series. However this still says its got....four hours left on export so like...I can't quite show everyone yet. but I'm working on it chat trust

I have been scouring the references that Wikit has posted. And I am very sad that I could not mimic them to a t. HOWEVER!! it is because I needed to scale details down so I could more feasible animate my new project. Therefore, Narinder's bandaged body turned into a slightly bandaged top and regular pants, and the details I wanted to put into Hamal's cloak got erased. if I had to draw each individual bandage around that cat's body I think I would throw my drawing tablet against a wall.

BUT this was very good practice!! not only for sketching and posing, but for Narinder's stupid face lol. I'm still learning how to not make him look bald, and I think I'm getting better with each drawing I do. This one is actually my favorite so far!!

I said it before when I posted the WIPS, but I'll say it again, these two are hands down my favorite. THANK GOD Hamal crashed out for me because I was losing my mind during Red Star of Ruin. Thank you to Wikit for writing such a good series. I hope I got somewhat close to what you imagined for their outfits. I know I gave Shera a braid she doesn't have in the fic lol I got too attached to it when drawing.

I have like 14 various pose practices and design ideas for these two. Its just a matter of cleaning and refining at this point.

Yes, I was that anon that asked about the outfits. Which is ironic because I ended up giving Shera a braid that she does not have in the fic. but for whatever reason I got attached to the idea and couldn't let it go. So is it cannon? no. is it realistic? absolutely not. Did I draw it anyways? yes. yes I did. I stand guilty.

let me just tell you this series has thrown too many bricks to count at my head. they did not miss. Wikit is truly a sharpshooter of angst. I have died at least 78 times, mostly during Red Star of Ruin. to cope with the heartbreak i made this meme:
