Known for being a cut-flower Anemone coronaria cultivars (garden anemone, florist anemone, poppy windflower, St Brigid's anemone) come in a range of colours including red, pink, violet-blue and white; there are also single and double-flowered varieties. This tuberous perennial thrives in a moist but well-drained soil, in partial shade.

We pray for all soldiers fighting for their countries. We pray for them to be kept safe from harm, and for them to return home. We pray for injured soldiers to be touched by God for quick recoveries, and all necessary support they may need. We pray for all the soldiers families who are worried and anxious for their loved ones. We pray for all to feel God’s loving presence so they may find strength during their trials.

We pray for all those who are suffering from cancer.  We pray for all those who have passed away due to cancer.  We pray for their loved ones.  We pray for peace and comfort them.  We pray for cures for all cancers.

We pray for all the murdered children and babies.  We will pray for them….If they could not feel love in life….We want them to feel earthly love in heaven.  We pray for them.

All who have been victims of crime.  We do see you and we will pray for you.  We pray for you to recover from both emotional and physical scars.  We are so proud of you.  You keep moving forward, and we acknowledge the strength that takes.

All alcoholics and drug addicts.  We acknowledge your pain, your struggles.  We know the courage it takes to want to recover and too stay in recovery.  We acknowledge the guilt you take on, and we pray for you to have peace in your hearts.  We pray for your loved ones and friends, who have suffered along side of you.  We pray for them to have peace in their hearts. We pray to Saint Monica to intercede on your behalf.

We pray for all caregivers.  We acknowledge how tired you must be.  Taking care of loved ones is so difficult.  We acknowledge the sacrifices you make.   We admire your strength, and we pray for you to stay strong, and to feel peace in your heart.  We pray for God to lift the heaviness you at times feel.  We pray for your loved ones, to appreciate you, and to have patience with you.  We pray for you and your loved one.

We pray for all those that suffer from mental illness.  We pray for you to have peace in your heart and your mind.  We pray for you to have better days, and to have the strength and the courage to get through the day.  We pray for your mind to clear, and for the dark cloud to disappear.  We pray for your loved ones.  We pray for the patience and understanding you need to help you move forward.  

We pray for the missing.  We pray for them to be found.  We pray for the families and loved ones of the missing.  We pray for them to have strong faith.  We pray for missing, and pray they make it home no matter what the circumstances.  We pray for them if alive to be touched by God and for them to heal and be restored.  We pray if not alive, they are found and returned to their families for a proper burial.  

We pray for all those that are mourning the loss of their loved ones.  We pray for them to feel peace and comfort in their hearts.  We pray they feel God’s loving presence as they go through the grief process.  We pray that their tears are replaced with happy memories.  We pray they have easier days. 

We pray for all the mothers that are estranged from their child/children for whatever reasons.  We pray for them to find peace in their hearts.  We pray for them to stay strong in faith that they will reunite.  We pray for their memories to be of happier times, and sad times to fade away.  We pray for God to touch their hearts and lessen their pain.

We pray for all those who are in ICU.  We pray for them to feel God’s loving presence and for their healing.  We also pray for those who are losing their loved ones.  We pray for them to have strength and courage and to stay strong in faith.

We pray for all the babies and children that suffer from illness.  We pray for God to wrap his loving arms around them, keep them safe and remove all pain from their little bodies.  We pray for each and every one to be healed and restored back to good health.  We pray for angels to stand beside them and protect them.  We pray for their little bodies to rebuild back to good health.  We pray for their families that carry the pain of their babies.  We pray for their faith to stay strong.

We pray for all those who struggle financially.  We pray for those who are unemployed to find employment.  We pray for them to be free of worries that weigh so heavily on their minds.  We pray for them to be guided to earth angels that will show them the right path.

Prayers and good thoughts for Ann. We have prayed for her when she was struggling with cancer. She was two years cancer free but it has now returned as terminal. She has chosen not to do chemo.

Prayers and good thoughts for Michael who has Cerebral Palsy and is going to the hospital on Thursday for a tendon in his leg extending and then foot surgery.

Prayers and good thoughts for Chris who has a chest infection, and for his daughter Diane who is recovering from surgery for bladder cancer.

Prayers and good thoughts for Lynne who is seeing a consultant about cancer treatment.

Prayers and good thoughts for our friend who is need of another part time job.

In 2020, Cindy Banda's sister Melissa was kidnapped and murdered in South Texas. Before the grief had any chance to settle, Cindy made a promise. She would raise Melissa's three children as her own, alongside her three kids.

Six children. One mother. A promise made in the worst moment of her life.

She has kept that promise every single day since.

This week, Cindy reached out with an update that stopped everything.

Doctors at MD Anderson told her they are no longer confident she will beat her cancer. The tumor, she was told, was larger than most they have seen. There is a strong possibility it could spread. If it does, they told her, there is nothing more they can do.

She wrote about the fear that keeps her awake at night.

"My biggest fear is dying from this painful illness and leaving my children without their mother and my nieces and nephews without their aunt."

She has been crying in private, protecting her younger children from the full weight of what is happening. Her older children know the truth. They sat together and cried when she told them the treatments may not work. She could not bear the thought of leaving them with unanswered questions, not after they had already lost their aunt the way they did.

She is still fighting.

One more surgery is scheduled for July. She is praying the next scans prove the doctors wrong. She has not stopped.

"I know I've given this fight everything I have, and I'll keep fighting with all my heart to be here with my children."

She also has a message for everyone who has been praying for her.

"I will gladly accept all the prayers I can get because I know that the Good Lord has the final say."

A woman who stepped in when her family needed someone most is now asking the world to step in for her.

Please share this and pray for Cindy today. Six children are counting on her to keep a promise she made in the darkest moment of her life. She needs every prayer she can get.

So much fire. The fires reach nearly the entire width of Canada. The above is a view out the window of a populated train in Canada. This didn't used to happen.

So many wildfires in recent years, in the USA, Europe, not long ago in Australia (so much wildlife and ecological damage), uncountable damage to property. There used to be a fire here and there but not like this. And not long ago, various national parks were ablaze in the USA. Unprecedented numbers and sizes of fires.

🎞️ Projection en avant-première au Palais Princier

Le film-documentaire "Mariage à Monaco", consacré au 70e anniversaire de mariage du Prince Rainier III et de Grace Kelly, sera projeté le 20 juillet prochain, à 21h30, dans la Cour d'Honneur du Palais Princier.

La découverte, il y a trois ans, d’une dizaine de cartons contenant les bobines et les chutes du film original, datant de 1956, a conduit à un plan de sauvegarde de ce document emblématique de l'histoire de la Principauté.

The documentary's behind-the-scenes story, restoration, and analysis will be the focus of a film-lecture event, which will also present the 4K restored version of the film on the big screen for the first time.

A striking display of the diversity of Streptocarpus cultivars (cape primrose) grown by Dibleys House Plants. The nursery was started by Rex Dibley in 1976 as a hobby.

The grower recommends “…a bright position but not full midday sunshine. Water moderately, and then wait until the compost feels dry to the touch before watering again. Feed regularly with a high potash feed. Remove flowers as they die.  Streptocarpus should flower for a very long period, usually at least from May - October”.
