Ingredients: 1 cup butter. 2 cups brown sugar. 2 eggs. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup butterscotch chips.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add brown sugar and mix well until smooth. Take it off the heat and add the eggs one at a time while beating it. Add vanilla and stir. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the butter mixture and mix them together. Add the butterscotch chips and mix them in. Cover the whole pan with the mixture. In a hot oven, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Cool all the way through on a wire rack in the pan before cutting into bars.
