Ok, honest confession time, since I don't really post here very much anyways...
I have a mutual from other sites in the furry community that I have feelings towards.
And over the last few years, I went from thinking I was hetero to bisexual. But this mutual is non-binary, so it's making me realize that I might be pan? (Or as I jokingly called it once, "Bi+", because that's how my brain takes it for some reason? Or would bisexuality be diet pan? Anyways, shit joke thoughts aside)
The problem is, while this person was grateful that I told them, they also told me they didn't have the same feelings back. I'm fine with them not feeling the same way, but at the same time I still have feelings towards them... And that's where my problem lies.
Because now I genuinely feel guilty that it's been 6 months since I confessed and my brain hasn't let these feelings go. I haven't told them that, I assume they know I still like them... The problem is though, I feel like I should apologize to them. At the same time though, I also feel like it'd be super fucking rude of me to say "yeah, sorry I like you, you should hate me so I stop feeling feelings".
Is it normal to feel this way? I have no idea... I just know there's a small part of my heart and brain that sees the discord notification from them and gets super happy to see them. I enjoy their presence. I enjoy talking to them. They're really funny in their own way. But again, the romantic feelings aren't mutual from them and it'd be really shitty of me to force myself to drop feelings towards them.
Why am I like this?
