In Out on the Weekend by Neil Young and Lay Lady Lay by Bob Dylan both of them describe a “big brass bed”, although Neil describes laying in the big brass bed which belongs to a girl, and Bob describes the big brass bed belonging to him, and he has a girl laying in it. So the logical conclusion to draw from this is that the two songs are two different perspectives of the same situation. Bob and Neil are in the same bed, and they both think the other is a girl.
