we as a society have GOT to accept that it is okay if we get blocked. you do not have the right to interact with every single person on the internet. I used to be really sensitive to blocking even though a lot of the time it was because I was a minor (happily 18 now). I got over it by using the perspective of, they’re regulating their feed and not hurting you, it’s better than them coming into your dms and saying something mean. It also genuinely really bothers me how so many people's "pro fat" posts are along the lines of "Yeah, fat is fine/good, eat whatever you want as much as you want!" Like yes that's a good sentiment and yes fear of fatness is what causes so many people to eat less than they otherwise would. I Understand This. But it's important to me that people understand. Someone being fat does not actually mean they eat more than a thin person does. Just because you're ostensibly defending or praising the fat body does not mean you aren't partaking in dangerous stereotyping

I don’t think people understand how much genetics plays into weight distribution or how much your body physically holds onto fat, and to be honest, I’m a doctor so I don’t fully understand either and just have a very basic understanding, but yeah, genetics matter. I have a lot of skinny friends who love to eat and eat a lot! I have a lot of fat and plus size friends that tend to not be hungry a lot of the time or eat in small portions, I myself am midsize and for me it fluctuates! Weight doesn’t mean your assumptions about a person are true.
