It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to "Broadway's First Lady of Comedy" Carol Channing, who passed away today at the young age of 97. Probably most notably known for playing her @thetonyawards winning Dolly Gallagher Levi in @hellodollybway, she played more than 5000 times and never missed one performance. Carol has also won the "Lifetime Achievement Tony Award in 1995. A best supporting actress @goldenglobes award for playing Muzzy the "jazz baby" party girl in Thoroughly Modern Millie with the amazing @julieandrews.
