The storm doesn’t just tear down tents…
it destroys the last sense of safety left.
Tents that survived bombardment
are now collapsing under rain, cold, and wind.
Children sleep with no walls,
no roof but a sky heavy with fear.
In Gaza,
even the weather has become an enemy.
If you can help, even a little,
every donation means warmth,
and every share could save a life.
God, help those who have no one else. 💔

A little girl learning to write her first words chose:
“I love you mum.”
Let’s make sure Dana stays alive to hear them every day.
Even $5 matters.

I'm writing this post on behalf of my friend @hyshwh756 (Hashim)
Hashim is a young man living in Gaza. Like every young man, Hashim has dreams of the future. Dreams of love, life, family and happiness. Things that can be hard to come by when living under the seige of a brutal, genocidal occupation.
Living in crowded conditions with limited access to aid, Hashim is used to the regular rush towards water trucks, a mad dash to obtain a barrel of clean water for his family, amongst a crowd of others doing exactly the same. These are not the circumstances any of us picture when we think about finding love, but this is where Hashim found it.
He told me that when he first laid eyes on the woman who would be his future wife, his heart was lifted for the first time in a long time. Farrah was also collecting water for her family, struggling to carry the weight of the barrel. Hashim offered to help her, and their love blossomed from there. Hashim knew he had found the woman he wanted to marry, and she felt the same way.
In Gaza, there are far too many funerals every day. Not enough moments of hope for the future, too many families torn apart and not brought together. Hashim and Farrah represent the resilience of love and of the Palestinian people. They are hoping to build the future against any and all odds.
Right now, both Hashim and Farrah are living separately in overcrowded tents. Hashim lives with and cares for 7 family members and Farrah with 5. These are harsh conditions for any human being to be subjected to, but for a young couple trying to start a family and plan a future, it's no conditions at all.
All Farrah and Hashim ask for is a little independence when everything else has been taken away from them. They want to give their family some space and have the wedding they dream of, start a family of their own. Hashim and his community have already pulled together, clearing rubble from an area to set up extra tents so they can have a space of their own.
All they need now is a tent to put up in that space. Something so small to us symbolises hope for a future to a young couple in Gaza. However, due to the occupation and limited aid and resources in Gaza, a tent costs $700. That's a pretty big down payment for someone living day to day, caring for so many family members.
Hashim is a really bright and kind person, someone who is willing to do anything for the people he loves. His fundraiser has been verified before
I have had conversations with Hashim and his approval to post his story and his fundraiser, which im personally vouching for today. So please consider contributing in any way possible. Like, share, donate, even if it's a small amount. I would really like to see things work out for them!
