when switchfoot said every lament is a love song and then when drew holcomb said isn't everything a love song? even when it's all wrong?
High-grade nostalgia material for those of us who remember A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, and the whole Nicholas Sparks novels and movie adaptations craze.

I’ve been listening to an unhealthy amount of Golden, Concrete Girl, and Redemption (by Switchfoot) recently lol 😅
Have you been listening to any music lately? Whether I know it or not lol
I’ve really gotten into Gorillaz tbh. I still love Switchfoot (def my favorite band) but the alternative hip hop style of Gorillaz is really cool. Also the lore is so weird and entertaining and frankly pretty funny. It also helps that a few days after finding them I found a friend who also likes them! But I would say that my top songs on repeat right now are Adding to the Noise by Switchfoot and Valley of Pagans by Gorillaz
oh I just know this album is going to eat
The way I cried actual tears when I looked up a Christian band and see they support lgbtq people and donated to hurricane relief
Jon foreman I hope you know you're such a good man who pulled me out of a really bad state of mind I redescovered your music when I lost a couple good people and pets after covid hit and I chatted with my dad about your band back when i was nervous about sharing my music, and it went super well because he listened to your band
And i would fall asleep to hello Hurricane back when I was just a baby
Jon please don't fuck up this legacy
This is coming from a trans kid fighting for his moment of sunlight in a red state where he can't vote yet
Thank you for reminding me that I am worth living even if some people say otherwise because of what i identify as
