crazy how they gave man tits this clinical sounding name even though most men have it. like, i have gynecomastia, this fucked up disease where i have some amount of breast tissue and thus a slightly higher risk of breast cancer, on account of the fact there's breast tissue there. this is because i'm fat and have fatty tissue where my tits are.

if you are a man and you are fat you almost certainly have this fucked up disease called boobs

like even ignoring "being fat" (because I think they just refuse to acknowledge gynecomastia a lot of the timeif you aren't skinny) isn't it like 40% of men who have it? at that point it's just "a way men's bodies are sometimes" and it's only a "condition" because misogyny

40% may be lowballing it a little bit (idk i'm looking through a bunch of different sources and it's anywhere from 35% to 65%), but that's still an absurd amount of people for it to be considered an abnormality at all. The medicalization and problematization of this is entirely because it falls outside of the gendered expectations we put onto bodies.
