I want to write a stupid diary entry on my stupid blog about this because it bothers me every day. I presented myself so poorly when I went over to his apartment to meet his family for christmas. and I don’t want to blame it all on gf, but her being rude to me certainly didn’t help 😭🤣 no but like…I was depressed, really badly so. and I was just…obviously very awkward and nervous. I made the air tense, and I can tell looking back, because when I laughed at something funny a little kid said, hot prof and work wife were doing that relieved laugh of like…oh the kid’s gonna be okay and not shoot himself right in front of all of us. sorry I’m having trouble explaining it but like. god I think his daughters thought I was weird as fuck. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
a good representation of how fucking stressed and dissociated I was: I forgot my name 😭. for a while, I used “wiley” as the full version of “lee” because it’s a family name. but, with my last name, it sounds weird, so I now use “wesley”, another family name. great! I didn’t remember any of that, told hot prof and work wife that I was going by wiley. to which hot prof was really confused… Looking At The Blog Proof for 500, Alex.

for context, as a child, I went by my middle name, which starts with an N. but, years ago now, when hot prof asked what my birth name was, I told him my first name (starts with an L as well), because that’s how he would’ve known me on the class roll.
but I brought up that middle name with the N in conversation, and hot prof was like “wait…I thought your name was L” and I sheepishly (probably poorly) explained myself
and in the same night, we had a conversation about how trans people change their names too much 🤣🤣 (IM A PICK-ME)
