it’s NT people tuning it out. Part of the issue with ND people is that the brain is basically bombarded with input, all the time, and there’s a significant amount of energy put into filtering. If the filter is borked then you get “THE FRIDGE IS LOUD” instead of “This person’s face is doing a Thing”
