Shawn Spencer snoops around your house with Gus and he cant quite connect all the dots until they meet you during the second walk through (the official walk through, with a warrant) of your home. He keeps it quiet from jules and lassie, but when the time comes for the big reveal and he presents how you were set up to a big crowded room, he says,
"and, of course, who were they to suspect but YOU!!! even the spirits know you're easy to pin the blame on--"
"due to the transphobia and general lgbtq-phobic biases set in place by our society, causing trans people to be more likely to be incarcerated and/or otherwise similarly displaced in society, [name] was framed for the ease of bias. It's an extremely manipulative tactic which takes advantage of the stigma minorities face! any true murderer wouldn't rely on bigotry!" gus cuts in. everyone stares at him. "i'm an ally!"
"i was gonna say awkward and in general a suspicious nerd with excellent computer skills, but that as well."
"what did you say?" you ask the two psychic detectives
"what? Oh, no, were you not out?" gus immediately starts regretting all decisions ever (and it shows).
"i'm not— i'm not trans."
The two detectives whip their heads to stare at each other, making some kind of conversation with whispering, body movements, and eyebrow wiggling.
"uhm." gus starts. "have you, considered being trans?"
shawn looks at you once again, squinting his eyes and touching his fingers to his head. he gasps, clutching his chest.
"I'm so sorry, it—, i don't think the spirits had let you know yet." he holds your hand limply in his two, stroking the back of your hand akin to a supervillian petting a cat menacingly. "I'm sorry, but your aura is so pink white and blue it could be pastel america."
you just stare at them. shawn turns back to the crowd.
"EITHER WAY, with his patsy all set up to take the fall, all he had to do..."
