Not all goodbye's are painful. Sometimes, it is the most beautiful one.
Verliza Gajeles
All these years, why is it always the women on the front line? Why doesnât S publicly own these relationships? Why are these women the ones pushed into generating all the speculation? And now... Why did this woman make her account public, then private again, just to pull in followers whoâll spread whatever she posts? Like⊠whatâs she even getting out of that? She knows people are leaking her posts and sheâs just blocking them one by one? Oi?? Whatâs the logic there? Who, with even the tiniest bit of self-respect, would choose to be a target for the fans of a guy who wonât even admit the relationship in public? And worse, with her kid getting dragged into those fansâ speculation?
Why canât S, after all these years and even now, act like other actors who actually stand up for their partners? Why canât he take a page from Henry Cavill, Rudy Pankow, Christopher Briney, Ian SomerhalderâŠ?
I canât deal with this nonsense. S apparently knows Steph since 2019, and theyâre probably friends, since he followed one of her family members back in early 2021⊠Publicly, S and his PR team went with this whole setup with another woman â basically pulled out of the freezer after years â just to spark buzz on Deuxmoi. Then they kept hyping up his love life on that blog, and then Stephâs name shows up in the comments (as expected). And then those same comments pointing people toward Pâs account, his stalker. But⊠Do the Deuxmoi's readers even realize Steph kind of helped set that up? Making her account public, then private again, just to keep certain followers watching â that partâs not gonna get mentioned on Deuxmoi, right?! Itâs always the same old story... And theyâll still be able to keep up the whole âwe have stalkers and weâre the victims in all of thisâ thing. Oh, please⊠đ€Ź
Anyway, when are S and C going to stop with these behaviors that just inflame this fandom and fuel more and more speculation? When are the âloved onesâ gonna stop getting dragged into all of this?
Weâve already had a dad stuttering and unable to even say Tâs name... Weâve already had a sister basically spark a witch hunt just to validate Caitâs whole âI have stalkersâ narrative... And others... Why are all these people involved â and even worse, why do they let themselves get involved in this mess? Simon was the smart one... Why canât S and C act like other co-stars if theyâre âjust friendsâ like they claim â like the main actors of Virgin River, for example?
Itâs impossible to be a fan of two actors who seem to allow and even fuel all of this. Please, S⊠Youâre letting a child get dragged into this whole mess â a kid who lost the father figure in her life just a little over a year ago. How can a guy who says heâs traumatized by his own fatherâs absence not have the sensitivity to protect this child? đ
After all these years, weâve had way more questions than answers. S and C couldâve shut all this crap down ages ago â why donât they act like other actors? Why let people they care about get dragged into all of this? To me, it seems pretty obvious they donât actually want to end the speculation⊠so now the main question is: why?

How to Convince People Your Relationship Is Real.
Dear Lost Actor (not of the show Lost but really lost), I really want to help you. Well, for the actual fiasco, it's too late, but maybe you can use these tips for your next attempt to convince your public you are a man in love... and taken.
First of all, remember: you are someone who has said countless times that you keep your private life off social media, so when social media is used to divulge something from your private life, it sounds strange, raises suspicions, people start to question why something that should be natural and organic always seems forced when it comes to you.
That's why there are so many theories about you. So here are some tips you can use, and your next relationship will be consistent with what you said all these years.
-First: Look for a discreet woman. Avoid clichés like models, influencers, fitness muses, C-list actresses, or someone who desperately needs to be relevant on social media.
-Speaking of social media, choose someone who has a private profile, one that only family and real friends have access to. Oh, and don't follow that person. After all, you know that all your new follows are observed and catalogued for future use.
-It's also very important to look at that person's past .
-Don't let her name end up in the inbox of any fan blog or gossip page.
-"But how will people know we're together?", you might be wondering. Well, my friend, certainly not through crumbs or insinuations: no shared clothes or accessories.
-Don't make your chosen one seem desperate, following all your friends or parading around in low temperatures like a student platonically in love with the school's quarterback.
-Don't ask your friends or family for help; that will make you seem insecure. It's like you need a crowd to convince you that having something with this person is worthwhile. Remember, you have to appear in control.
-I advise you to avoid having children involved in the equation, but if there are, be extra careful. Exposing children on the internet will never be acceptable, no matter what some parents think. And if you've said countless times that you protect your family and your real life, it wouldn't make sense to let a child (who would be part of your life) be exposed.
-After meticulously following all of this, you would have two paths: an unassuming stroll somewhere normal with your loved one. A warning to the paparazzi, and the photos would be out in the world. Not through fan blogs, not in low quality, not leaked by stalkers.
-Nobody, not even the paparazzi, would be able to identify who the lucky girl is because there would be no online trace to follow. Imagine something like Henry Cavill... simply walking with his then-girlfriend. The surprise of those photos for the fervent fans, for Hollywood, for all the celebrities who secretly (or not so secretly) had a crush on him. Nothing to be said, no response. The press spent hours trying to identify the girl. No name was thrown into fan blogs months ago.
The other way would be to arrive hand-in-hand with the stranger at some event. No words about the relationship. Maybe you don't even need to say her name. This time, there will be real and general surprise because no name was thrown into fans' inboxes, and no insinuations were made. Everyone will speculate, research, and try to find out who the new girl is. And people will start to think that this time it's something real, because it will be consistent with what you've been saying for at least ten years: "some things are just for me," "I like to keep my real life private," "I keep my private life off the internet."
So you'll be in control. People will know her name if you say it. She won't need to seem desperate trying to prove to the world that she's with you.
A bonus tip: try to look happy when you're in public with her, and try to look in love. If you can do that with a co-star, you can certainly do it with a relationship that should be real.
Purv's last post with the photos seemed very strange to me, not the photos themselves, but what she wrote. She seemed desperate, as if she were using all her strength to make a plea, she quoted Outlander, it was very melodramatic. If she has the photos, the most logical thing would be for her not to need to give explanations and just celebrate her own success. Or wait for people to celebrate. Why so much effort on her part to make everyone believe in this story of eternal love?
That's the problem with Purv. She always seems desperate, as if her happiness depends on people believing everything she says. I also think that when you're so sure about something, it doesn't matter what others think or say. Writing about these photos, as if she were writing fanfiction, sounds like she herself has doubts. But what she's doing is just more of the same: she also said that Sam and Abbie were eternal love, Sam and Mackenzie were soulmates, Sam and Sarah were in a serious relationship and Sam would be a great stepfather to the boy. Anyone already used to her exaggerated statements isn't really impressed by this one.
Maybe one day I'll be able to explain the power they wield over me.

Heart eyes for sure! They adore each other. And that parking his hand on her thigh and her holding it in place and rubbing it...ownership, folks and I'M DYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
đđđ
As someone who has been in the fandom from the beginning and was sure Sam and Caitriona were a couple, I think they played the fandom and created the idea of them being together but hiding it. For the interest in and success of the show. Now I think, they were actually somewhat hiding what was really happening. Cait and Tiny. Sam and his multiple women. Not that the last season is filmed, they are free to show what they want.
We have been played.
I donât believe the fandom created the idea of Sam and Cait being a couple. We saw what we saw. The way they looked at each other, touched each other, flirted with each other - that wasnât acting. That wasnât promotion. That was raw, authentic chemistry and emotional intimacy that even real couples struggle with. You canât rehearse the kind of ease they had with each otherâs bodies, the french kisses, the dirty inside jokes, the way they clung to each other behind the scenes. That wasnât playing the fandom, that was just them.
What came later, the layers of personas, the awkward narratives, the sudden introduction of new partners who somehow lacked even the basic body language of affection. We went from watching something that felt electric to something that felt⊠managed.
So no, I donât think we were played. I think what we saw back then was real. It was them, unfiltered, just being themselves. Sadly, thatâs not what weâre seeing anymore.
By the way, you can easily see the difference when you look at how hard Starz is trying to manufacture chemistry between the main BOMB cast. Unfortunately for them, that kind of magic canât be faked.

The Widow: Why This Narrative Never Escaped Tumblr (A PR Autopsy)
This narrative didnât just happen to live on Tumblr- it was tested here, dissected here, and quite unanimously rejected here. And the reason it never left this platform is because Tumblr recognizes manufactured intimacy, brand adjacency, and single-pipe storytelling faster than anywhere else.
First: Why Tumblr?
From a PR standpoint, Tumblr is the safest place to test a personal-life narrative before letting it breathe elsewhere. Itâs contained, fandom-heavy, and disproportionately invested, meaning you get fast, high-quality feedback without mainstream exposure. Tumblr users donât just react emotionally; they analyze patterns, timelines, body language, and inconsistencies, which makes the platform an early warning system. If a narrative survives Tumblr scrutiny, it can usually be softened and repackaged for Instagram or gossip blogs. If it fails here, it can be quietly starved without headlines or retractions. For someone like Sam (whose core fandom lives on Tumblr and whose image has already been PR-managed for years) itâs the logical test lab: intense enough to surface problems, small enough to abort without public damage.
Timeline: The Widow Narrative
1) Distillery opening debut: Steph center stage, photographers present, child visible
âą Why PR thought it would work: Establish a ânew chapterâ instantly. Homecoming energy. Serious, grounded, family-man optics without needing a formal announcement. The distillery is also a controlled environment where his brand and personal image can merge.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: The optics were too loud for someone with a âprivateâ brand. Leading with a girlfriend is one thing, leading with a child is another. It triggered immediate âsince when does he do this?â suspicion and ethical discomfort.
2) Identification lag, then her name dropped to multiple fandom inboxes
âą Why PR thought it would work: Speed-run attribution. Stop speculation spirals by guiding the audience to âwho she isâ so the narrative can move forward cleanly and look established.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: Simultaneous inbox drops read like coordinated attribution, not organic discovery. It made the audience feel steered. Once people feel guided, they start looking for fingerprints everywhere.
3) One blogger becomes the main pipeline and pushes hard
âą Why PR thought it would work: A single friendly funnel limits mess. Keeps it contained. Lets the story circulate in a controlled corner without triggering tabloid escalation.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: Single-pipe distribution is the opposite of organic spread. Tumblr clocks that immediately. One outlet shouting while everyone else side-eyes it becomes its own red flag.
4) First Stratford weekend: inside-theatre photos appear from two angles and land as âanonâ tips
âą Why PR thought it would work: âCandidâ proof of proximity. Theatre-adjacent optics help the prestige pivot. It signals sheâs part of his world without needing public statements.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: Too early, too convenient. Hardly anyone knew who she was yet, and two separate angles implies targeted attention. When ârandomâ photos behave like planned beats, Tumblr stops buying ârandom.â
5) Second night Stratford: jacket photo in the line for drinks, again anonymously delivered to the same inbox
âą Why PR thought it would work: Visual association. Borrowed clothing is an easy shorthand for intimacy. Itâs low-effort symbolism that reads as âgirlfriendâ in one glance.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: Teen-coded symbolism. Also, the repeated âcorrect inboxâ problem. Itâs not the coat, itâs the choreography. How do multiple anons keep finding the same pipeline?
6) Instagram optics begin: profile changes, public/private cycling, curated content dumps
âą Why PR thought it would work: Controlled âsoft launch.â Let the public connect dots without an announcement. Build familiarity. Reward the people paying attention.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: It reads like signaling, not living. On/off privacy combined with a sudden curated dump looks like image management, which is exactly what Tumblr is trained to detect.
7) Mutual follows: wide net across his social/professional orbit
âą Why PR thought it would work: Social proof. âSee, sheâs integrated.â Following people around him creates the illusion of legitimacy and longevity.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: It reads like networking, not romance. Real partners donât speed-run a boyfriendâs ecosystem.
8) Brand adjacency crumbs: distillery hat, lifestyle posts that mirror his commercial lane
âą Why PR thought it would work: Keep the narrative useful. Tie the ânew stabilityâ story to his brand identity, making him look mature, settled, and business-minded.
âą Why it failed or raised questions: Too on-the-nose. When the romance narrative doubles as product reinforcement, people stop reading it as romance and start reading it as campaign scaffolding.
9) Pub âdouble dateâ optics with Caitriona Ăona present
âą Why PR thought it would work:
This read as a clear attempt at approval by association. Including Caitriona was meant to normalize the situation instantly and frame it as a relaxed, happy double date. If sheâs there, it must be fine. It signals social acceptance, ease, and legitimacy without needing statements.
âą Why it failed or raised questions:
The optics completely undercut the intention. In every photo, he looks disengaged, flat, or openly miserable, and his visual focus is consistently on his co-star rather than on his girlfriend. Whatever the intended framing, the images do not sell ânewly in love.â Instead of approval, it highlighted a disconnect and made the setup feel forced.
Bonus Round: The child factor and the moral optics
âą Why PR thought it would work:
Including a child was likely meant to fast-track seriousness and ground the narrative emotionally. Family-adjacent optics are often used to soften bachelor branding and project maturity, responsibility, and stability.
âą Why it failed or raised questions:
This backfired hard. The child had reportedly lost a father figure barely a year prior, which immediately shifted the conversation from romance to ethics. Instead of grounding the story, it made the motherâs choices part of the narrative. The optics of leaving a young child in Ireland while repeatedly following Sam around created discomfort and invited scrutiny. Once a fandom starts debating parenting decisions rather than chemistry, the PR narrative is already unsalvageable.
Summary: Why PR thought it would work
âą It offered a stability pivot for a long-time bachelor image
âą It wrapped the story in âserious, grounded, family-adjacentâ optics
âą It was contained enough to test without mainstream risk
âą It blended personal narrative with brand identity and theatre credibility
Summary: Why it didnât
âą The fingerprints were too loud (single-pipe anons, guided attribution, orchestrated optics)
âą Instagram behavior looked managed, not natural
âą Brand adjacency made it feel transactional
âą The body language and âchemistry opticsâ didnât support the story
âą The child-in-frame element triggered ethical discomfort rather than warmth
âą Once Tumblr clocked scaffolding, the narrative couldnât travel
If youâve made it this far, congratulations!
If you want more, let me know what youâd like to dig into next đ
This is the third PR-focused Tumblr blog created in a very short amount of time after the Observer (who probably is a collab between one of the Anti sopranos and a minion) and Lady Mary (fairly decent, but still hints of the same stylistic mold).
All three read as at least partially edited with the help of AI, something no serious, longtime player in this arena has ever done. Not even the trolls, not even the nasty sock accounts who take stock of every single movement of 'the other faction' and report for duty on the regular, in comment threads.
All three pretend to break down complex circumstantial elements into user-friendly pills, using bullets and bold/italics. The result is either dry or confusing.
As for the above post - three pages to tell us Mrs. Innuendo is way too pushy to make this particular plotline worth pursuing. Plus the little girl situation, that makes everything even more unpalatable.
But we knew all this, right?
Right.
With all due respect for the authors involved and the sincere wish to be wrong, may I ask: what the fuck is going on?

That pic you posted makes Sam and Cait look platonic and him gay.
Sure, Jan.
Anon is blind or deliberately obtuse.
Anon: Really? I get Lovers vibes! Maybe you should get your vision checked!
The first thing I looked out for when I went to the Hublander convention were signs of 'gayness', given it has been such a point of contention in the fandom for years. I can unequivocally confirm that I saw a very straight man. As the astute woman that I am, I could very plainly see that this man likes women. And it was then that I definitely knew that that he was either with Cait or another woman.
