just a little rant about my experience with heartstopper

I can't actually watch heartstopper that much because of how much Nick and Charlie's relationship revolves around kissing and sex. both as an asexual person and someone who has been in a relationship with someone who didn't wanna do anything but kiss. I don't mind seeing them kiss, but it's the fact that we barely ever get to see them do anything else unless it's a deep conversation about their issues. every time they hadn't seen each other in a while it was always "it's been so long since we kissed" and never just "I missed you" or "I missed being with you". and I get that I don't enjoy kissing as much as the usual person because of my asexuality but there should be more to a relationship than that.

Jax getting offended when he finds out that everybody assumed he only spares Kinger out of boredom. Because Kinger doesn’t react badly enough to being tormented.

The concept of elder abuse being one of the few things that goes against Jax’s morals. And him getting offended because “It was obvious”.

as an openly genderqueer person at my school, I get asked about my genitals quite often. my usual response goes something along the lines of:

"the only people who need to know about my genitalia are medical professionals or sexual partners, and you're clearly not someone who'd be able to go through medical school so unless you're trying to fuck me I'd advise you stop asking"

I forgot to mention guys feel free to send me asks about my finale fix-it, I'd love to hear what things you wanna see fixed, or any ideas that you have! of course it would have to fit into my idea for the plot, but if it works I could totally fit it in!!

I have such big plans for my finale fix-it fic and I'm putting so much work into it like I've been watching countless video essays and reading all the praises and criticisms and taking notes

I'm just scared no one's gonna read it and it's all gonna be for nothing

(I know you shouldn't write just for the engagement and I know I am gonna have fun writing it either way but I also know how much it would mean to me if people actually read it and liked it and it would probably bring me down a fair bit if I did all of this just for like 2 people to read it)
