Superman doesn't have TIME for selfies

We open with Lois in some kind of portable room, interviewing people all over the world to get more information about Kal-El. It seems some of them were genuinely friends with him who he allowed himself to get close to, like the woman from Dharavi. This is something I’d love to see explored in further issues if we get any more flashbacks. He had dinner with this woman’s family— implying that he used to eat? How long did he work in that factory? How long does he stay in one place to work, on average? What does he do with the money he makes— does he send it back to the Kents or to other families he’s met during his travels. I just think it’s so beautiful that he’s made friends all over the world, and they’re willing to protect him despite how he never lets anyone get close to him. At least not anymore.

Sometimes when he closes his eyes, he pretends he's laying on a rock, soaking in Rao's rays and recovering from a fever. Pretends his dad is sitting beside him, eating a sandwich between stories from the mines. He's sick and soon he'll be better, and the sun will help. The sun will help and then he can run again.
