His heart swells, and he cries out and runs to meet her, burying his face into her chest. He clings to her, and she holds him tight as he shakes and sobs. She strokes his hair and shushes him. I spent all of Superman Day going to a zine fest and then getting inspired and making a little Superman book :) I've only filled up maybe 1/3 of the pages so far, but I'm having such a blast with it and I got really emotional doing the black-out poetry bit (from an article about children who survived Hurricane Helene and the California widlfires) ;_;

Inspired by a panel in Issue 12 where Sol looks kinda like he has little hands on Kal's shoulders :) I like to think he could morph into a big fluffy dragon creature🥺
