The captain Marvel scene comes from the writing thinking they were getting one over on the dumb masculoids who use brute force to settle disputes.

The first time you see Yon Rogg, he’s Carol’s trainer, pointing out that she needs to focus, learn how to control her emotions. Learn how to pay attention to what she’s doing, not what she’s feeling. They’re doing PHYSICAL training, and from the start she’s losing, and making excuses for losing. He’s gently pushing her buttons, but he’s mainly pushing her, trying to make her keep her emotions in check so that she can focus on the entirely physical fight. This is an ENTIRELY LEGITIMATE THING TO SAY, someone who’s running around acting based only on how they feel in a given moment will become a threat to others, maybe even, iunno, get into a fight with a powerful alien while in the middle of a moving bus or something! Attack random people for annoying them, stuff like that!

Stuff that you don’t actually want someone with near unlimited power to START DOING.

And so, when we get to that final confrontation? Well, did you read what he said? ‘Turn off the light show and prove to me you can beat me without it.’

Oh yes, to the assholes, that’s a ‘I have nothing to prove to you’ moment. Of course!

But to everyone else? She just showed that she can’t win without it.

Her entire character arc is ‘I have unlimited power, and I’ll use it as I see fit!’ only… With how she’s behaved, the way she’s shown herself to use power is pretty fucking horrifying.

Because she’ll make snap, emotional judgements and go into situations without trying to get proper information. Those aren’t habits she’s worked to break after all.

Misandry is the idea that masculinity is toxic.

Misandry is demanding men not receive the same government funded abuse shelters as women have because of a personal opinion on only men being capable of domestic violence.

Misandry is glorifying or ignoring women’s crimes, laughing or shifting blame whenever they murder, rape, or steal.

Misandry is going after people funding shelters for men, tearing down people who even try to help them, because they’re all “demons serving the patriarchy”.

Misandry is exploiting gender stereotypes in order to ruin people’s lives.

Misandry is being laughed at by peers or told you should’ve liked your sexual abuse.

Misandry is glorifying psycho girlfriends breaking their boyfriend’s shit and abusing them.

Misandry is men making up the overwhelming percentage of workplace deaths and all suicides.

Misandry is men not being able to express their emotions because people will accuse them of being gay or a pussy.

Misandry is seeing male patients in an in-patient facility little to no advice besides shaming

Misandry is a girl gang assaulting a man and still getting a slap on the wrist.

Misandry is falsely accusing the man who stopped to help you fix your car.

Misandry is seeking sperm donor helping your gay friend and then turning around and suing him 16 years later.

Misandry is a man being forced to give up his semen so his ex-wife can get pregnant and then being forced to pay child support.

Misandry is a feminist falsely accusing one of her own colleagues causing you suicide.

Misandry is a feminist falsely accusing her best friend driving the kids to suicide.

Misandry is a girl urging her troubled friend to go through with committing suicide.

Misandry is all your feminist forebears.

Sociology is a bullshit degree that is not even the same in every country and is susceptible to propaganda. Sociology ain’t shit. This here are facts. No matter how you try to minimize it like every other feminist rotten cunt says. The issues exist. Women ARE responsible for them just as men are.

Misandry has history and powerdynamics. Stop treating men like a monolith.

Gender gap in prison sentences, gender gap in child custody, gender gap in mental health resources, rape laws explicitly excluding men, government resources explicitly labelling men as abuser by default (primarily the Duluth Model), lack of reproduction rights, lack of protection of bodily autonomy, lack of freedom to vote (in America, men receive the gift of being able to vote for signing their body over to the Selective Service, aka the draft).

And that’s just to name the few off the top of my head.

Every single one of those are systemic in nature.

The NOW (the largest Feminist organisation in the world) actively blocked shared custody by default. The Duluth Model was implemented by Feminists.

What’s worse, nobody, not a single fuckin’ person, was blaming women as a whole. That was entirely you with your projection and how you perceive everything through Conflict Theory.

And the ol’ “women get all their shelters by themselves. I have no idea that women’s shelters often receive government funding from the supposedly misogynist Patriarchy, or that Erin Pizzey got donations for the first women’s shelter in the UK from men.”

Also, domestic abuse isn’t necessarily the result of sexism, especially when it’s often mutual. IIRC, the strongest predictor is growing up in a household where abuse is happening, even if you’re not the victim. Not to mention how a male abuser of a woman could easily be bisexual, and equally likely to abuse women and men for non-gendered reasons.

I see a lot of feminists who treat “abused women = misogyny” like a universal truth, and not one has ever backed it up. And they sure don’t discuss lesbians, who are supposedly most likely to be abusive of any normal monogamous gender combination.

Misandry needs a body, aka, systematically needs to exist prior in order to ducument individualised cases of misandry. 

This may be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read on this site, which is impressive. This person is saying that in order for INDIVIDUAL cases of misandry exist, there must first be STRUCTURAL misandry.
