Regarding last reblog: one technique you can use IRL is that when you're in a group passing around vague ideas about Where to Go Next with no consensus, if your preference has been brought up and no one made strong objections, you can often get your way by waiting a few minutes for nothing to change and then go "so everyone is good with X, right?" And act as if the decision is mostly made.

Another way of putting it is that forcing people to make a fucking decision is in many ways the same as making the decision for the group, if no one steps up to do the same
