We hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend! While I’m off for 3 day from the day job I’ll be laboring away in the shop most of that time, it’s something that I really do enjoy! A little explanation on how we run the shop. We have standing commitments that are always in the works, customs to work on and as always working on new ideas. I split the time between all the processes, so I don’t stop the other process to just work on customs or or our standing commitments. Customs are worked on in order as they come in and every effort is made to keep the times committed to, I’m always running a little behind it seems so thank you for you patience, if you ever have a question where you stand in reference to a custom please do not hesitate to call, text, message, snail mail or send a smoke signal...lol! I have used shredded Carbon Fiber in the past quite a bit in the past few years, but these are made using a little different process. The carbon Fiber is mainly on the bottom, almost like a liner. The top is partially translucent which gives these pieces a-lot of depth! The strength of the resin is greatly increased with the addition of the carbon fiber which increases the quality of the product! This is a beautiful Burl, I’ve probably admired it for well over a year... and it was time... these are processes that keeps a shop going. This is in between custom orders, straight resin pours, CNC work and commutation with the best shop manager around in my Wife!
