A delicious homemade version of the classic Hamburger Helper, featuring ground beef, macaroni, and a creamy cheese sauce. Perfect for a quick and comforting weeknight meal!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 cups beef broth. 1 1/2 cups milk. 2 cups elbow macaroni. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped parsley for garnish optional.
Instructions: In a big pan, cook the ground beef over medium-low heat until it turns brown. Put the minced garlic and diced onion in the pan and cook until the onion gets soft. You can add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, elbow macaroni, milk, and stir them all together. Bring the mix to a slow boil, then lower the heat and cover it. Stir it every so often for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until the macaroni is soft. Take the pan off the heat after the macaroni is done cooking and add the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix the cheese in until it melts and becomes creamy. If you want, you can add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving.
