Day 45 of lockdown - 7/5/2020
I’m a Scottish girl who does art, cooks, is vegan, and plays games who has recently been placed in lock-down along with the rest of the UK. I’ll be making a daily diary of it all and maybe even posting some art if I make any. Read the rest to find out Day 45 of Lockdown’s Daily update incl. Food, Activity & Health, and Work
There has been talk of boris johnson relaxing lockdown laws from monday onwards. I disagree with this as i believe it’d lead to a second peak, as do many in my house. Luckily, Nicola sturgeon stated that she’s gonna keep us in longer as she feels its still too dangerous :) Although I am missing my boyfriend, and would love to seem him as soon as possible, a longer lockdown is the best decision for the country. I just worry about possible tourism.
I really can’t wait until I have the days where I go to my boyfriends house though. Waking up to an alarm, taking an early morning shower, putting on a nice outfit and going there all day.
We’re 4th most infected country in the world - though that happened a couple of days ago. We’re most infected in europe.
The statistics show that although deaths per day are very much decreasing - we are not over the peak as we were told by Boris Johnson, but infact just experiencing the peak. Unless you count a 1 day anomaly as a peak, which would be stupid.
UK cases - 201,101 ( + 6,111 new )
UK Deaths - 30,076 (+ 649 new )
Covid19 Mortality Rate - 6.92%
Influenza Mortality Rate - 0.186% SARS Mortality Rate - 9.6%
Slept last night - 0100 Woke up - 0900
