my first thought of the clip of thor being shocked/unbelieving was that he was talking to doom, because he looked like tony (and they didnt show a face yet). then mjolnir appeared and i was confused, doom is definitely unworthy. then it showed steve rogers…

my next thought is, they look like they’re in space, so are they in that space station that nick fury was stationed at since far from home?

Capitan America: The First Avenger (2011)

this is a great movie to start with if you're doing a Marvel marathon. This was my personal favourite character when I was a kid, and now I still love him so much. The movie was overall good, maybe a little bit boring, but I liked how the story was represented. The whole way that Capitan America became a superhero still cringes me a little, but I believe that his real superpower is his leadership, which we can see better in The Avengers movie.

the natural lifespan of a fandom is unlimited. when well tended a fandom can be functionally immortal. and yet everywhere you look you see newly bred fandoms withering and dying when they’re barely a year old. barely even six months old. fans are looking at their six month old fandoms and saying i think it’s on its last legs, should i euthanise it? when with the proper care that fandom could outlive them for decades. it’s sad. sad state of affairs we’re in.
