Of course we can't be 100% sure that the subject of the Dornish letter was Rhaenys, but it's very likely.

It is worth though remembering that the Pink Letter isn’t *actually* about Arya, it’s about a fake Arya.

It was perfectly FINE for Catelyn to point out that her dad cared enough to try to betroth her and her siblings at the age that marriages would typically be planned for them.

Honestly just feels like you're just looking for reasons to not like Ned. This series has characters do so many heinous things, but Eddard Stark is bad for being sad when his dead big brother is mentioned? Come on, you're clutching at straws.

If you don't like Ned as a character, fine, but you don't have to try and find tenuous reasons why he's a bad person to justify that dislike. Especially weird in a series where he's one of the least awful people in it.

Also a hypocrite, given that as soon as he could use this betrothal to play Sherlock Holmes, while continuously endangering both his daughters and himself, up to and including his symbolic murder of Sansa via Lady, he jumped at it.

Eddie-boy being sad when his brother is mentioned is fine. A desolate expression would have been alright. Using his grief, which Catelyn, who knew and loved Brandon as her future husband, shares, is rotten behaviour. My brother was murdered, too, but I don’t use it as a way out of an argument I don’t want to admit to losing.

NPCs—a tribute.

NPCs, NPCs, #NPCs. You gotta love 'em. You don't have much choice, in fact. They are quite possibly one of the very best things about #gaming, and provide seemingly endless, albeit accidental, entertainment. Walking into walls? Check. Walking into each other? Check. Running into space, for no obvious reason, drawing weapon and assuming battle stance, for no obvious reason, before withdrawing and walking in the other direction, for no obvious reason? Check. Shouting hey! watch it!/you hear that?/must be nothing.../what was that?/I thought I heard something..., unprompted? Check. Walking slowly/freezing/moving without walking/sliding around/stuck in place/floating away into the sky? Check. Crouching around from side to side for a few moments, for no obvious reason? Check. Commencing beef, battle, conflict, and general disarray with you, the protagonist, unprompted? Check, check, check. *hazardous battle music commences*  

These non-playable characters are so often the accidental stars of the show, entertaining us with an all manner of unexpected behaviour, glorious glitches, and unforgettably banal dialogue. They are #NPCs, and we owe them so much.
