I updated the Saprina mod for TF2! Now features use of the "Source proportion trick", even better facial expressions, and some cosmetic support!

Future plans include redoing the textures, more cosmetic support, some custom animations, and more!

once again i dont know what to call this specific branch of alt-adjacent fashion but "goth" is a close enough umbrella term because of how watered down it is these days

also i used gaia online for labbing the fit again! pretty useful for that sort of thing occasionally

Initially I wanted to go with a brighter red for her suit so I could joke that she stole Ninja's hat to complete the costume, lol.

had fun doing another monochrome piece after not doing one in a lil while, a more casual-themed piece featuring saprina (who i dont draw much) helped chip away at creative block

Decided to do something fun and experimental in multiple ways. 1: A "model swap", which is like a style or outfit swap but for robot models. Here, I've drawn Aki as an MDL-H mannequindroid and Luna as an ARC doll-jointed android (they're usually the other way round).

I decided to give Aki a drawn-on face because I wanted to illustrate (haha) the fact that some mannequindroids work around their static or nonexistent faces by using dry-wipe markers to draw facial expressions and details that they wouldn't demonstrate otherwise. I've entertained the idea of Annie doing this, but have never drawn it.

2: Lineless but done not in my normal lineless workflow (linework, then flat colours, then doing rendering on top of both of those). Instead, I went straight into painting, only just blocking out areas with flat colour beforehand over a sketch layer. This is a bit more typical for painting traditionally from what I'm aware, so it was a fun challenge. I do think the overall proportions are a little wonky, particularly on Aki (who I did first). That might be because of my initial sketch though. I think Luna came out very nicely however.
