Meanwhile Haymitch is looking at the eggs going "did any of these belong to last night's dinner, by any chance?"

But he takes them anyway because Katniss is, of course, entirely correct. Haymitch does want to raise geese in honor of his dead girlfriend.

Effie: *sitting down* OK! I just came off the phone with the rehab center. They can see us as early as Monday for a first evaluation.

Haymitch: What?

Peeta: Good, I’ve packed all his bags and food for the train ride.

Katniss: And ma says the surgery can be performed down in Four. She has a great colleague who specializes in the field, so Haymitch is good to go as soon as he’s in the clear.
