"No. Absolutely not. It's a ridiculous notion. One, in which I refuse to entertain Sejanus."Coriolanus frowned, crossing his arms. He felt as if he was caging his own chest in. Not that it wasn't entirely unnecessary. He could feel his heart beating at a hummingbirds pace. Surely, it was attempting to break free from his chest flu directly towards the boy he shared this God forsaken room with.

"Coryo-" Sejanus tried, in a comforting tone. If the Lord was listening, he'd make Sejanus stop using that soft, pitying, patronizing tone. But he wasn't, and so Coriolanus had to stop it himself.

"You don't get to us that tone with me! You don't get to use that name. It's ruined the second it leaves your perverted lips." He nearly growled out. "What you suggest is sodomy. A crime against nature. A damnable sin and punishable by death." As if Coriolanus hadn't done things that fit all those descriptions before. As if Sejanus hadn't helped him commit such grievous mistakes. Yet this was entirely different. Beyond even Coriolanus and his limited restraints.

"Does it have to go that far?" Sejanus asked quietly, in an almost sad, pathetic tone. Those brown eyes shone with familiar unshed tears.

"What does that mean, exactly?"

I want Coriolanus Targaryen to maybe be the son of King Jaehaerys II, younger brother of the mad king. He's perhaps Tywins' biggest competition as hand of the king. He doesn't appear to have a single chink in his armor until you notice just how much he hangs around the youngest son of the Martells, Sejanus.

Theres a rumor spread around crowded lunch tables he’d never be welcome at, of a howling beast who lives in the arena—abandoned for three hundred and sixty-four days of the year—who feasts on the twenty-three bodies left behind each year. Sejanus thought the rumor was as crude and tasteless as his classmates, but then again, he never did quite get that line about truths and rumors.
