Migraine sufferers will be like "it's not like I'm disabled or anything, it's just that if I do any of these normal everyday things other people do all the time, my head explodes. But I'm fine honestly, as long as I avoid doing anything ever and my environment and the weather never changes, then my head explodes a little less"
thank god I apparently outgrew them as I havenât had a migraine in yeeaaars *knocks wood anyway* but yeah that was my life starting when I was 6. Sometimes itâd just come on out of nowhere, usually Iâd wake up with it - and genuinely that meant my whole day was ruined because the longer Iâd let it go, the worse it would get⌠but taking my meds meant it was gonna knock me out for about 4 hours - even if Iâd just woken up. So there was no school there was no screen time there was no reading⌠there was darkness and a cold damp cloth on my head. But it honestly was just like yeah some days are like that but usually itâs fine, Iâm fine. My favorite was when people would tell me I was too young for migraines. Like thanks? What am I supposed to do with that?
